Pete Hegseth took time out from the chaos of the Iran war to make an announcement that Donald Trump has renamed the region from Mexico to Greenland as “Greater North America.”

Saddest part is, there are Canadians who would willingly give up their sovereignty to the USA. As for Trumps renaming, just more nonsense that comes out of his mouth to distract from his very direct implication in the Trumpstein files.
It's part of the manifest destiny the US conjured up in the late 19th century. Interesting that Israel is wanting to do the same thing with conquering vast lands/countries in the middle East (hope it fails miserably on both accounts)

With the lunacy, cruelty and danger being generated daily by the incompetent president and his “administration”, I’d say this one is less worthy of outrage given our close attention needs to be on the abundant serious stuff.
It is undeniably clear that the U.S., under Trump and enabled by a spineless GOP, has become an existential threat not only to Canada, but to the world as well. Trump has turned on his allies, denouncing and disparaging them at every turn. He has single-handedly undermined NATO, and now, when it suits his purposes, he uses it as leverage—further eroding the very alliance he weakened.
He cannot be trusted, and without trust, there is nothing. The damage he has already done—and continues to do—will take decades to repair, if it can be repaired at all. If Ukraine falls to Putin, that responsibility rests squarely with Trump. There’s no way to sugarcoat it. He is the worst occupant of the White House in its 250-year history.
His conflict with Canada may not involve a traditional invasion. However, the current tensions, including separatist sentiment in Alberta—still a small percentage, around 8%—are beginning to reflect patterns of intentional misinformation and media manipulation, similar to what we’ve seen in the U.S. The battleground this time won’t necessarily be military; it will be over resources, influence, and security. And we already know that, with this administration, almost anything is on the table.
