I wish I could escape and boycott it too, but I'm old and poor and no other country wants old poor people, so....we're here till the MAGAts kill us off with rising prices, stolen Social Security or no medical care. Charlie I appreciate Dale's story. It needs to be heard. What has happened to the United States of America is a tragedy. Living here now is scary and depressing and disheartening. I was shocked how many horrible people live in this Country. Now that being said there are good people here and they are apawled with what is happening. All we can do is hope and pray that the Courts hold up and the Democrats have the biggest blue wave this Country has ever seen. Of course most of us wish the Devil will call him home soon because he really needs to be in HELL.
It's really challenging to live here every day another horror is thrust upon us.

Not true. Only 1/3 of the population even voted! 2/3 of people stayed home and didn't vote! Trump only got 47% of the vote, of people who voted. The estimate is 15% of Americans are MAGA and 15% are Republicans with their head in the sand. Dems are probably 30% and Independents 20%. The balance are to young or old to vote. Most Independents tend to vote with Dems, but in this election the racist, misogynist element either stayed home or voted for Trump. They are waking up now to the error of their ways. With the help of the rest of the world standing up to the Presidential demented bully we stand a chance of regaining control of Congress in the 2026 elections. We will need to feel a lot of economic pain between now and then to break through to the MAGA cult so please don't travel here or buy US goods. Thank you to our Canadian friends! That's exactly how my husband and I feel. But it is since 2017 that we have stopped visiting our southern neighbors. But the South Orange and its acolytes are doing us a proud service! Here we are freed from our slavery and obligations to them. Now the world is open to us for everything. Friendships, trade, our autonomy as a country and the great reunion of all our parties who speak with one voice. We are very strong and the sum of all Canadians is more important than the real number. We have always been a low profile, but we are all exceptional together. In all our trips around the world, being Canadians opened all the doors and it's even better today.
