Thoughts on the Bombing of Iran

Donald Trump has bombed Iran. The world is now moving into ever more dangerous ground. I want to share with you a video I've created deconstructing the disinformation and politics behind this attack.

Benjamin Netanyahu has been using the forever war to stay ahead of the corruption courts in Israel. He has now suckered the United States to provide political cover.

There was no nuclear threat. American Intelligence warned the president that Iran was not moving forward with a nuclear bomb.

Tulsi Gabbard, the MAGA disinformation queen, testified there was no threat. At a recent trip to Hiroshima, she warned that "political elites and warmongers are carelessly fomenting fear and tension between nuclear powers."

What's important to know is that just two months ago, it was hoped that Trump was going to be the president who actually brought Iran in from the cold.

Saudi Arabia, acting as an American proxy, met in March with Tehran about dropping sanctions as a means to build a better relationship.

There was no way that Netanyahu was going to allow this to happen. He stated the only way Iran was going to be invited to the table was through regime change.

Iran is a country with a population of approximately 90 million people. It is one of the world's oldest civilizations. The idea that Israel could force regime change by bombing Teheran was ridiculous. They had to sucker Trump to join in.

And now he has.

So, where do we go from here?

Trump is dangerous. He is reckless, and he is leaving the United States more and more isolated on the international stage.

Israel may have bought some time, but their leader is an indicted war criminal, and they are being investigated for crimes against humanity. Israel has burned up whatever goodwill it had. They have become a pariah state held together by war.

As for our Western leaders? It could be said that the myth of Western moral superiority died in the death camp that is Gaza.

We have all watched the mass starvation, the killings of hospital workers, the countless war crimes and our leaders did nothing.

This willingness to turn a blind eye to the genocide gave Netanyahu the green light to carry out further atrocities.

And so now we are here at the brink.

I hope our Prime Minister can rally the West and the world, but we have all been seriously damaged by failing to stand up to Netanyahu.

As for Iran? I don't know what will happen in the short term, but if they didn't have nuclear weapons before, it is very likely they will want to get those weapons now.

The world is burning.

Trump has just poured gasoline on the work of arsonists. Ordinary people will need to take to the streets to send the message:

Hell No – we won't go along. Not this time, Trump.
