I sent an email to Anita Anand to stop Canadian weapons manufacturers from selling parts to Israel and be world leaders in imposing full sanctions on Israel now! Otherwise, we are complicit in this genocide!

It's sad what depths the human mind can sink to in terms of depravity towards another human being.
Really hard to do when you have empathy and think about the fact another human being has family, friends, parents, siblings, uncles/aunts, grandparents, maybe children and other loved ones.
That's why there's constant brainwashing and propaganda to create an 'other' people and cast them as inhuman in order to justify killing them.

I won't speak any names but i know people in the American military, younger adult guys my age (nothing over 40) who have been brainwashed with the same mentality, especially from their military, that those they're "fighting" in the middle east or otherwise are their mortal enemies and it would be better if they were gone altogether. These guys could sound reasonable by any measure and come off as normal guys like anyone else when talking about any other subject, but it's almost like some sort of trigger or switch is flipped when the conversation pivots to these specific topics.
Young men get gaslit, propagandized and brainwashed into fighting wars of hate and animosity for older, despicable and twisted foolish adults consumed with hatred, and the cycle of pain and vengeance continues anew in younger generations like an infinitely endless loop.
It's like the cycle of abuse, and if someone here has gone through and experienced family violence like i have while growing up, they would know that you have to have the strength, courage, unshakeable unbendable will and determination to break the loop and end the cycle once and for all, otherwise it continues forever and it manifests itself into the life of your future family and children if you have any in the future.

Those of us who are able, MUST continue fighting against the brutality. Everyone CAN do something even if it seems it "won't make a difference". It CAN make a difference! Keeping an eye on a vulnerable neighbor. Donating time or money for efforts like Doctors Against Genocide, Doctors Against Borders, local food banks, political candidates who want to fight against income inequality, but support fairness for everyone, protecting our voting rights and vulnerable voters themselves etc..... calling local, state, and federal representatives, attending city council and/or town hall meetings - whatever works for you.
Could you also do a piece on the horrible story carried by CBC that Vance is mouthing off about Canada, and then pointing to his friend Jamil Jivani as an exemplary voice for Canada?

I am sickened -- literally -- by the vision of gallows being erected for public hangings of Palestinian prisoners. It would appear to be the case that all humanity has been stricken from the Israeli government officials and the Israeli people who are permitting -- and encouraging -- the genocide in Gaza and the West Bank to be perpetrated in their name. I condemn the state of Israel in the strongest possible terms.
