He clearly ment mortality not morality as we all know he has none.

Need to start paying more attention to Hegseth.

The "problem" with quoting Gramsci, as Charlie did, is not that he isn't extremely quotable[!] but that he was a Marxist and the IGNORANCE of the American public and a lot of the Canadian public too, is so extreme that they cannot even DISCUSS the rich intellectual history of Marx. Nor can they discuss its many iterations and its many followers throughout the 20th and into the 21st century. I feel its like Leonard Cohen[also very quotable!] said..."You know how to stop me, but you don't have the discipline...". They are not only afraid, and have an irrational fear of Marx, but they are also afraid of the S word[socialism and its many, many iterations] and of course the R word[regulations]. Arrogant, malleable, intellectual wannabes like JD and the entire drumpf cabinet, are actually, functionally illiterate. They have no guiding principles and they are truly what would have been called reactionaries, whose only skill is manipulation. Manipulation of those who have not actually EVER read an entire book, in their adult lives about history, politics, economics or Marxism. So all they do is follow....and REACT.

Everyone seemed to like Charlie's quote about the MONSTERS tho! I even saw right wing pundits using the phrase....but watch it murica! don't actually follow the quote to its SOURCE. Thats too scary, one might have to re-examine, and god forbid...#READ objectively. They really are AFRAID and that makes them dangerous. Moreover, intellectual WORK is just that, and that is why they will never do more than a cursory look-up on Google[first page only!] to um..."...do their own research...". If I sound filled with contempt about the drumpf regime and the nodding donkeys that keep it afloat? I AM. To these cretins, Ideas are scary and should NOT be discussed. Gramsci was an amazing intellectual and a tragic figure IMHO and should be more broadly known and understood. Thanks as always Charlie! for keeping the conversation going.

Mygod, I hate these Al photos, posters, videos and the giant image on the DOJ building, of Trump looking like a powerful, bold, prominent and important figurehead. Did you see the video of him playing hockey. OMFG.

Trump does know we can see him as he actually is, right?

If you KNOW about Jane Doe v Trump/ Epstein 2016,

then USE IT if you have protection, or a way to deal with it, without making yourself a target.

Search:

Jane Doe v Trump/ Epstein 2016

it should take you to the document, if you don't already have it.

I saw it posted at least last year.

Probably NOT in the Epstein Files.

Jane Doe was 13 years old.

She had filed a complaint in Caifornia under her real name, no lawyers.

She then filed a complaint in New York under Jane Doe, with lawyers. It was October 2016 before the election.

She wanted a trial, but was not given one.

They said she was falsely accusing them.

She and her family were threatened with death, so she withdrew her complaint.

She had Joan Doe swear the Jane Doe's testimony was true.

So, here the victims are, and have just been outed by Epstein files. ( Don't know if she was included).

My impression is people don't know about her.

It is a damning explicit testimony for both Trump and Epstein. (and difficult to read). If you launch into it, it would be good to be prepared for " push back."

Maybe a law firm would handle it.

Recently people have been finding out about Epstein's Zorro Ranch. Situation fits with her testimony.

Don't know where she was when this hsppened.

This is my email:

Thanks

Don't need you to email me.

Just go ahead and use it if you can.

Without swift and sure accountability, men like Trump and Putin and Netnyahu will continue to destroy democracy and civilization. People need to step up and take back democracy. https://thetyee.ca/Analysis/2026/02/24/We-Cannot-Wait-War-Mobilize-Public/

I just wish more MPs of any kind would join in.

This is not hysteria from those suggesting dire things for the future. This is the same kind of denial and appeasement that got us in so much trouble and lengthened WWII by years.

He is shooting & killing Americans. He has shot & killed Americans. You won't find him holding the weapon. He has learned from the cartels - you pay someone else to do it. And he has. He doesn't even have to provide the specific name of a specific person. The direction to kill is implicit for his version of the brown shirts. You feel that no one is standing-up to this regime. I see governors who stand-up at great peril. I see people in the streets standing-up at greater peril. New York Times reports quite well as other outlets peter-out. Our champion reporters have had to retreat to threads, substacks, podcasts & blogs, all of which can become a mediocre repetitive venue. The only change at the mid-terms will be more voices in the cacophony. He will still be there as will his lieutenants & generals & judges. .Can the country rely on Democrats to overthrow this regime? Do they have the strategy, or any strategy? Do they have the stomach for it? Democracy is at stake, and so is the temptation of billions of dollars. Keep on, keeping on, Charlie. Thank you. M.

Your continued expressions of and calls for dismay are getting a little tiresome at this point, friend. Malignant fascism born of capitalist empire in decline is here. It's not shocking and dismaying - it's reality. Let's start getting toward what to do. Documenting and distributing the documentation is of value, but millions of cries of "can you believe this???" are of little use at all.

Donald Trump lies compulsively and continually. He has told more lies to the American people than any other politician in the history of our Republic. He is unfit to hold any public office.

Every customer, every associate, and every guest, of Jeffrey Epstein that trafficked, or pimped, or raped a child —and every employee of every government entity who knew of the rapes and covered them up—must be identified, indicted, prosecuted, convicted, and thrown into prison.

America’s convicted criminal President stands accused of sexual assault by 26 adult women. Multiple courts have found Donald Trump liable for sexual assault and ordered him to pay one of his victims $ millions in compensation and penalties.

Trump is also accused of slapping and violently raping a 13-year-old child provided to him by his good friends—the pedophile sex traffickers, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Trump’s long friendship and intense interactions with Epstein and Maxwell are confirmed by multiple sources—by 38,000 references found by the New York Times in the partially released Epstein files, by photos, by videotapes, by narratives from Trump’s friends, by Trump’s own effusive praise of Epstein, by Epstein’s effusive praise of Trump, and by Trump’s salacious card delivered to his friend Jeffrey on the occasion of Epstein’s 50th birthday.

When the courts force Attorney General Pam Bondi to stop her criminal coverup, and to obey the letter and the spirit of the law by releasing the Epstein files she is currently hiding, Trump, Bondi, and dozens of other criminals will be exposed, indicted, prosecuted, convicted and imprisoned—as they should be.

Great writing and agree. Also, I feel creditable podcasters now have Trump in the files close to 1,000,000, million, times. Innocent, no f........ way..!

His own morality? Hahahaha trump has no morality.

His so called long speech won’t be about the SOTA. It’s about the SOS (State of the Swamp).

It’s all for the 30% of the folks who will follow the fuhrer to the gates of hell.

Well, he has no morality and he is a moron !
