It Has to Stop Here
There are days when I wonder how things got so dark and bleak so quickly. But the storm clouds have been on the horizon all along. They have just finally caught up to us.
I spent my life waiting for the future, and now it is here.
I thought there would be more time.
I can’t accept the premise that this is the world I am passing on to the next generation. I refuse to leave this mess for them to clean up.
This nightmare happened on our watch. It is up to our generation to step up.
This is why I resist.
I will do my part to stop the descent into darkness. I have lived a wonderful life and would love a carefree retirement but my obligation is to the next generation. I will do whatever is necessary to ensure they have a safe and free future.
The haters go no further. It has to stop here.

Yeah. Same here. These were supposed to be the years that would find me slowing down a bit and feeling alright.
Not a freaking chance.
Peace, Charlie. Peace, Canada.
I agree. In speaking with some of my American friends, they are terrified. They are withdrawing from chat groups or from any form of social media, and are adjusting road trip routes because they are afraid they will be tracked, pursued or confronted by ICE thugs. Other than keeping PoilieNever out of office, and staying informed, what else can we do? #canadastrong
