At the end of April,my wife and I drove from Vancouver to Oregon to see our son. Going down, it took us about 5 minutes to clear US customs, and less time at Cdn customs coming home. It all depends on your history. KB.

I will not be traveling to the USA anytime soon if ever as long as there is an authoritarian regime in power an the sycophants backing them.

I agree and I won’t be traveling to the USA for a very long time!

We care too much about our Canadian friends ❤️🇨🇦🍁

I’d appreciate it if you didn’t call the US “Trumpland”.

My warning to Charlie Angus. If you're NOT planning to travel soon to MY riding of Battle River-Crowfoot to mount some NDP opposition to Parachuting Pierre, then your just another politician full of rambling rhetoric for YOUR advantage, not Canada's. Move your ass, Charlie!

What is happening with our neighbours is terrifying to us. At first it was hard to believe it was happening. Now I personally believe action is required. Our neighbours have tried to deal with it properly in the courts, unfortunately as they waste time with this ,the orange psychopath moves with incredible speed towards authoritarian power for himself and the criminal regime he surrounds himself with.

The same applies to every other country. Don’t travel to the USA unless you have to.

Alberta is far on the path of the red states for decades and the truth process is tainted.

Alberta’s government is taking rights away from people with stalking, harassment and false narratives.

Charlie's post is correct...DO NOT trevel and or send a red cent to this miserable country..there were many many good parts to this country but those are and have been gone.

Enjoy the good times with your friends and family and save ALLLLL that money you were gonna spend and pass that money on to your kids and grandkids. They (The Americans) miss your Canadian money WALL STREET and all of your tax shelters included.

Take the usa down to the "bare bones" then should you choose, come back, the whole process may take a generation IDK but the kids will not know the details.

Good advice. Problems folks are having at the border are scary some suffering detention if their papers are not in order. Trump has made the United States a different place, and not for the better!

I’m 🇺🇸 and I agree; Do not travel here currently. More than 1/2 of Americans would be happy to see you visit, but It’s simply not safe while tRump & his regime are in office.

Why is Transport Canada still showing the US as a “no problems here folks, just take regular precautions” green flag country as far as Canadian travel is concerned. The UK is marked yellow and I would feel much safer there than in the USA. And I’m a middle-aged cisgender white woman.

I would hardly call this plunge into chaos and lawlessness gradual. It is proceeding at a breakneck pace. They know they need to complete the coup in time to cancel midterm elections. They are already defying court orders and threatening judges.
