The detention centre denied using these blankets and said she was given standard acceptable food. When she finally returned to Canada she commented on her now being able to eat health food. Mooney suspects the reason ICE detained her was her product could be linked to Delta-9 hemp ingredients in her company's drinks, despite the product being federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill. I am pretty sure that food in detention centers is disgusting whether or not you are vegan. The normal procedure when turned away at a border is to simply not let the person cross. Not hold them in detention and then transfer them to a JAIL for two weeks. No one deserves that for simply being turned away at the border. It is also common practice to renew your Visa AT THE BORDER. You just fill out paper work there and renew it.
You know if everyone would stop defining themselves by the colour of their skin it would be better. We are all Human Beings and we should use that term.
